I guess more like `hands off'... I try to keep the core SSAX
relatively portable. Mike has done great job to separate out
idiosyncratic features and implement them in R5RS. Based on that,
various people have created installations for particular scheme
systems. Some of those packages are available in the SSAX download
area; some other are available elsewhere. Some scheme systems
integrate SSAX directly, so there is no need for a separate
installation. It's up to the developers of a particular Scheme system
and its community to decide how to treat SSAX.
