Xlispstat

I've used Xlispstat extensively for years.  I'm now growing away from it
only because it's too slow for the size datasets with which I'm now working.

I strongly prefer Xlispstat to R, primarily because of the simpler and more
consistant syntax.  I'd consider Python a competitor except for Xlispstat's
powerful built-in graphics.

I am an aero engineer/operations researcher, not a C  hacker, but I'd be
happy to contribute to any speedup efforts if I can.
