Hi,

I am trying to use blat to send via gmail for the first time.

I have set my stunnel.conf like this:

debug = 7
output = stunnel.log

client = yes
[ssmtp]
accept  = 25
connect = smtp.gmail.com:587

I have also tried port 456 without any luck.

The stunnel log shows this:

2015.05.09 12:55:38 LOG7[main]: Service [ssmtp] accepted (FD=332) from
127.0.0.1:51611
2015.05.09 12:55:38 LOG7[main]: Creating a new thread

2015.05.09 12:56:08 LOG7[7]: Service [ssmtp] finished (0 left)

and my blat log shows this:

2015.05.09 12:55:38 (Sat)------------Start of Session-----------------
Blat v3.1.1 (build : Feb 27 2013 20:04:29)

*** Error *** SMTP server error
Error: Not a socket.
Error: Not a socket.
2015.05.09 12:56:08 (Sat)-------------End of Session------------------

Any idea what I am doing incorrectly?
