Hi Jonathan,

I am Cc:ing Tom to see if he'll respond to me instead, in case there
were transmission issues.

I don't have strong feelings either way, and propose to take a pragmatic
approach, and just offer your updated version
in addition to Tom's original one so people can see and choose, and we
solicit feedback.

If people want the original version, both can be kept available, and
unless we have strong input that people want to keep both around, we can
drop the ancestral version at some point.
