Yup, I understand Cone's paradigm, so I got this part.

Should the states bar change from "Sign, then send message? (Y/N)"? Because 
it doesn't. No combination of S or CTRL-C seems to work for me.

I press CTRL-X then press S then press CTRL-C then press CTRL-X and I still 
get the same prompt.
