For example I was looking at the Setup screen off from the main menu. In that menu CTRL-D doesn't do anything. That's the only place where I have seen the <DEL> key been used. However, it's a critical place. :-( > I note that gnome-terminal, for example, has configuration settings for which > keycodes it emits for DEL and backspace keys. If you're using > gnome-terminal, your profile settings are not set correctly. I tried several terminals. One the <DEL> key worked, but the screen didn't refresh properly. Another the screen refreshed properly all over, but <DEL> didn't work. I don't know how to modify term definition and it likely will take me a long while to figure out how to. I am accessing cone remotely through SSH. Tried both from Putty (windows) and FreeBSD. I think Putty may have ways to define <DEL> so will check that. ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
