Actually, I did specify an outgoing smtp server, and that was why I was going nuts. I had: Outgoing SMTP Server: mail.nerdshack.com SMTP userid (optional): [email protected] in the setup screen. Unfortunately it seemed to ignore the userid. Well, anyway, the problem has been more or less solved.
