Error Installation EPS

Dear All,

I am trying to implement eps on my slack, but when I try compile I
have an error msg

gcc -O3 -funroll-loops -Wall -I. -o rewrite rewrite.c -leps-1.0 -L. -DRESTART
/usr/i386-slackware-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -leps-1.0
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [rewrite] Error 1


I try to insert /usr/bin at "/etc/ld.so.conf (is. the location of ld)
but its still error,
what I do some miss with my compilation?
are u have step by step installation of eps/efilter/epstools?
