In most cases the message is received twice. Checking headers for these show different outbound servers from Google, but the same Message-ID is present. I understand this means that two separate emails were not composed and sent, but rather Google resend the same message after being unsure the first was received successfully. Also checking via cPanel -> Track Delivery shows multiple emails received in.

I will contact the server administrator to request logs that may help, unfortunately I am only a user but noticed this behaviour and wanted to report it as quickly as possible. Or if you can guide on what logs to obtain and how I would do this, I will give that a try?
