exiscan problems

I have exiscan patch running on a box of mine with clam as the virus 
scanner. Now the patch runs perfect with any smtp session. Where its 
giving probs is as follows:

1. If a mail is being send from the localhost i.e. 127.0.0.1 is not 
scanned.

2. Any mail send from a user to another user on the same server using 
his mail client does get rejected, however the mail just vanishes in 
thin air. Atleast the reject mail should make its way somewhere...

The rejection shows in the exim_main log file

2004-05-30 23:27:10 1BUUYu-0008FC-0b H=(MACHINE) [x.x.x.x] 
F=<[email protected]> rejected after DATA: This message contains a virus 
or other harmful content (Eicar-Test-Signature)


I have tried to read the docs on the website but there is nothing i 
could come up which could help me accomplish what i am after.

Any help on this would be really appreciated.
