spam/defer_ok

Hi folks,

If 'spam' is being called several times in the data ACL and you wish to 
move on if spamd is not available, does one need to add '/defer_ok' after each
call to 'spam' or just the first one?  I know that the results are cached so
I'm curious if the '/defer_ok' is cached as well.
