Failed patches

Day before yesterday I was playing with Exim and the Exiscan patch.  I don't
rember any hunks failing.  I wiped the server to beging the 'final' setup and
downloaded both again.  Now I am getting failed hunks.  Is this normal?  Were
they failing before and I just didn't notice?

Exim 4.43 and the latest patch as of yesterday.  I think that number is right. 
I am on a different machine right now.   When I first tried I was getting
failures because the latest version of Exim in the US mirrors was one less than
the latest patch.  I have to get the latest Exim from the main site.
