I would highly recommend that you upgrade to version 4.  It is much more
powerful and has current support.

If you consider that most of the viruses are sent by Viruses and use real
peoples email addresses for both the From and the To users, any response
would simply be spamming those two addressees for something they had
nothing to do with.

You are much better (in Exim 4) denying the message before receipt and not
responding to any message that you have accepted since you no longer know
where the message actually came from.

Why would you want to be told that a message you didn't send to someone
contained a virus and was caught??  If a user has a virus on their
computer, plenty of other people will let them know.

You will get a lot of nasty mail from other Administrators if you do
otherwise.
