If you are going to use SpamAssasin, it has it built into there.

I don't know about Exim outright since we are still using 4.34.

However, even in SpamAssassin, on most of our sites we have it turned off.

We have also started removing SPF records from some of our domains due to
it causing problem with forwarded mail where the inbetween parties have no
way to correct.

We don't lose much in spam protection as a result and only use SPF at
sites as a way to increase a spam score if we use it at all.  We never
deny outright from it.
