I once started to package vexim2 for Debian GNU/Linux and those
packages and first efforts are still available for testing and as a
starting point. [1]

Also I've integrated the "schirmacher" patch set in the Debian package.

The last thing I actively did was translating the user part of Axel's
plugin for RoundCube Webmail to German language.

I'm still willing to contribute as much as possible to the project and
I would really appreciate any "commands" on what I SHOULD do. I'm an
experienced coder in some languages like ASP, ASP.NEt, some PHP and
Python, but most of my interest is focused on the Debian packaging part.

So if there is anyone willing to support me in packaging Vexim2 for
Debian GNU/Linux (and also for Ubuntu): this would at least be a way to
stabilize the installed base of many Vexim2 servers. We could provide
so many things in preparation of a clean upgrade-path for many people
using this great piese of software. We could also provide much more UI
translations if a package for Debian exists - the community is willing
to provide translations for existing packages ;o)

So, if YOU are interested in contributing to the project, I'll be happy
to provide anything possible, be it manpower, be it server space, or
anything else that I can contribute.
