I'm just finishing a vexim install based on Arne Schirrmacher's patch 
(http://bit.ly/5GkGkI).

It's currently only in german but quite web-two-oh-ified with CSS 
styling and a few jQuery bells'n whistles.

I'm no PHP wizard but would love to contribute some CSS/JS UI styling 
should vexim ever settle on a clean markup/login separation. :)
