Hi Terry,

I'm in the same boat as you in this, except I'm a mid-range PHP coder 
and I'm finally learning the intricacies of exim, so I'm playing with a 
few extensions to vexim that I've slapped together over the past couple 
of years, which are unfortunately not ready for production as they 
require some coaxing to get working.  Perhaps it's worth putting them 
into a package for others to tinker with.

FreeBSD is also my platform of choice, so I have a vested interest in 
making sure vexim works there.
