Hello everybody! I'm happy you're all still alive. :-) Wow. Looks like there's a lot of potential. Now I think we neeed 3 things to get (re-)organized: - Mailing list - Wiki - Version control system All of the above exist, but there's room for improvement. One main point is what happens in case of emergency (crash). So the very first thing we really need is for Alan to agree to delegate some tasks to have more than one person responsible. I don't think it helps to have multiple people (motivated as they may be) running off in different directions to start different "organizational forks". Let's think this through together. Here's what I could offer: a) Moving the mailing list (including all archives we can find) over to a university's mailing-list server. This would have the benefit of Spam scanning and automated backup. This server hosts mailing lists for one of Germany's largest universities, is professionally supported and here to stay. b) Setting up Foswiki (or TWiki). Very stable. Revision control for all topics. Database-free (everything is stored in files => a restore in case of a "crash" is easy; no more fear of "database gone".) So much for now, Robert
