Metamail/MIME handling in exmh/Red Hat 9 broken, and the fix

I upgraded a workstation here to Red Hat Linux, Version 9, and it didn't take 
long to find out that exmh was fairly well broken. Mostly I observed fairly
quickly that metamail was not part of the distribution any more [!!]

The symptoms were HTML mail, images, and other content not being handled right
(or at all). Since I get and send a lot of these sorts of messages (sometimes
like it or not), a fix was a nessesity.

A suitable version was found on the net: metamail-2.7-1.0.1.i386.rpm at:
http://www.hklpg.org/RPM/engarde/contrib/RPMS/i386/metamail-2.7-1.0.1.i386.html

Once downloaded and installed, exmh now handles all that content again.
