Before I changed that code, the status pane was "inside" the pane that I raised up to full window status under some conditions. The real estate came for basically free, since it's always lived in that part of that pane. Moving it to the main window would require adding a line to display it. We could move it if anybody feels strongly about it. If we do real multi-pane display, we probably want to make it targetable to a given window... > 4) Something changes in the way it behaves when you select multiple messages > by dragging. Even more annoying - you can't click-and-drag to select 2 or 3 messages, then move the mouse up 5 or 6 lines, and shift-click to add another line or set of lines - all the intermediate lines get marked as well. Quite possibly another manifestation of the same bug. There's also some wonky focus and auto-raise issues - the message window likes to auto-raise itself, which is quite annoying if you're concentrating on the ftoc to manage messages... I've managed to get into situations where the cursor was inside the sedit window, and the window manager thought focus was there (as demonstrated by the window decorations), but it was elsewhere - no blinking-vertical-bar cursor at 'point' in the text, and keystrokes go poof. Move the mouse out and back in, and it reappears..., and the keystrokes actually show up as letter... _______________________________________________ Exmh-workers mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/exmh-workers
