Yes, the problem messages usually contain images.

Is there some way to keep exmh from stalling on these?
Is the stall because I turned off background TCL processing, or
a seperate issue?

I see preferences to turn off in-line images on a per-folder basis, but it
would be better to have it cope with the occasional missing image.
