All of what you've advised me works just as you said it would.  Now I 
think I'm getting into the area where you said you're not quite as 
expert, that is how to get "sedit" to use "@".  It seems that my 
replies now put decoded text into "@", but "sedit" doesn't contain 
decoded text.

Anyone know where to go from here?
