Ignore the # thats just me adding a comment , ie
	I typed		pwd
	it showed	/0s1/usr1/home/jhs

No. No root at any stage.
I could do frame grabs if you want with xv to say .png format ?

I have found: Preferences > Hacking Support > Debug log enable & turned it on
I will close & send this mail, so the log doesnt have 2 jobs at once,
then provoke the error again & see if it produces something for you in the log
