Dear Charles, I'm writing to ask for assistance with a documented aspect
of the ezmlm software. Respectfully, my reasons for asking about it
should not affect the contents of the answer. I am unable to change the
characteristics of an ezmlm list in a way in which the system seems to
be capable of and designed to do, and I'm asking what I'm doing wrong or
misunderstanding.

If you don't think this is wise to do, you certainly don't have to
answer my question. However, I hope that your objections will not
prevent someone else on this list from assisting me. They can even write
to me privately if they're concerned about misuse of this feature.

I write this with some trepidation, since you're an influential member
of this group, and have been very helpful to me personally in the past.
However, I'd still like to understand why I cannot make this change.

Sincerely,

-Kevin

Please explain how you have such a requirement. I'm unaware of any
situation
requiring such measures from a technical standpoint.
