Oh, kinda like my changes to qmail-remote (and qmail-queue,
qmail-rspawn, and the queue structure)?  It works like this: when you
queue email, you give qmail-queue an command-line option which tells
it to read another file descriptor, on which is available a CDB.  The
CDB contains per-recipient variable substitutions.  It gets presented
to qmail-remote, which does variable substitutions.  The emails end up
looking like a TRAC program.

It would be straightforward to turn qmail-remote into a full TRAC
processor, allowing any changes to be made to an outgoing email.
