Alec, When I was initially setting up getmail with Gmail and I had a lot of mail that I wanted to move, I used max_messages_per_session to limit the number of messages downloaded, and then just ran it multiple times. Getmail wasn't failing, I just felt it reasonable to limit the size of the batches I was downloading. This might be of use in your case as well. --Larry On Sun, Jul 22, 2018 at 10:18 AM, Long black coat <[email protected]> wrote: > > > On Sun, 22 Jul 2018 13:14:49 +1200, Roland Hill < > [email protected]> wrote: > > > On Fri, 20 Jul 2018 or thereabouts, Charles Cazabon came forth with: > > > > > Long black coat <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > Here's my question: Is there a way of downloading a specific custom > folder > > > > from a gmail account? > > > > > > Yes. > > > > > > > mailboxes = ("Inbox", "0000temp") > > > > > > This type of thing will work. > > > > > > > but all give > > > > > > > > mailbox [Gmail]/0000temp not selectable ([Gmail]/0000temp) - verify > the > > > > mailbox exists and you have sufficient permissions > > > > > > That means you're not providing the correct IMAP folder name in the > above > > > configuration.
