I do appreciate the free service that gmail offers and they have made it 
less impossible to actually remove emails via the server web page. 
first, after downloading them with getmail, finding them all in all 
mail, deleting them and then emptying the bin.
Or perhaps I have the syntax wrong for
"delete = true" ?
