By "REST or GRAPH API", are you saying that retrieving mail happens via a proprietary protocol? getmail can only speak/retrieve from POP3 and IMAP4 servers (and the probably-obsolete SDPS). Can you clarify what exactly you're trying to do, from a technical standpoint?
