If they don't support POP3 or IMAP4, then getmail will need some fairly major
surgery to support retrieving mail from it.  You can try adding this yourself;
I'm unlikely to put a lot of unsponsored work into supporting a proprietary
Microsoft interface.

However... a quick search turns up lots of pages saying Office365 *does*
support POP3 and IMAP, with TLS.  e.g.

Here's MS themselves saying you can use POP or IMAP:

So I think you are on the wrong track.  If a POP or IMAP client can access the
mail, getmail can retrieve it.
