They look pretty intact to me, and mutt can properly decode and render
them.
Are you sure your mail client is up to 1996 standards? See

The fix is using a proper mail client, then you'll see this instead
(excerpt):

Not that I believe switching the fetching software would help, "couldn't
get it to work" is neither a frequent reported issue for fetchmail, not
an appropriate description of the problem. Since it's off-topic here, if
that happened with a recent fetchmail 6.4.x version, then report this
along with all detailed information from
https://www.fetchmail.info/fetchmail-FAQ.html#G3 through fetchmail's
users mailing list. If you were trying 6.3.x or even older, it would be
unsupported.
