grepmail for all mail in a given month

I'm trying to figure out how to quickly and easily grepmail
for all messages in a given month.

I know i can do

  grepmail -d 'between feb 1 2004 and feb 29 2004'

but that's cumbersome.

  grepmail -d 'feb 2004' 

is legal syntax, but the day of month seems to default to the first
instead of doing a greedy match.

perl 5.6.1 on red hat 7.3, just updated grepmail, Date::Manip, and
Date::Parse from CPAN a few minutes ago.

Any better suggestions?
