The subject of how to handle incoming SMTP sessions is a pretty sticky issue. I have been thinking about it alot but I want to have more input on the subject. NGMP needs to allow incoming SMTP to remain backwards compatible, but I think it also needs to provide some built-in spam protections (otherwise we lose the nice improvements of the IM2000 concept until/unless NGMP becomes widespread enough to start closing port 25 -- not likely in the forseeable future, IMHO). I have set up a wiki page with some musings of my own on it, but I would love to have those musings ripped to shreds and eventually converted into some workable ideas. :) So, have at it: http://ngmp.libretech.org/NgmpWiki/InboundSmtp Thanks, Wes Morgan
