But those distros > are not around any more. https://packages.debian.org/sid/courier-mta shows 1.0.16 is the current packaged version in 'sid', the 'unstable'/'bleeding edge' branch. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=978755 is a 'Request for help' bug raised by the Debian maintainer almost 3 years ago. That's why I had to build from source & chose to package for use by 'dpkg' recently.
