Rather than on configurable delimiters, I'd invest time on revising aliases as a whole, and their relations to folders. Yes, using delimiters is handy, as it allows a user to create new addresses on the fly. However, it would also be useful to create extension addresses based on aliases, or addresses that don't look as extensions at all, although the latter needs some setup. Furthermore, how about having courier-foo automatically delivered to folder foo, if such a folder exists, without having to create a specific .courier?
