This looks good. The build on Github succeeded. I am applying all three, as  
is.

I see that Ubuntu offers multiple versions of clang. I should be able to  
add clang to the workflow build on Github. This won't completely prevent  
build issues on BSD, but it should at leask make sure that the code remains  
compilable by clang.
