By base dn, you mean o=hosting,dc=my,dc=com (or whatever else you can
configure) right?

My tree is something like:
dc=my,dc=com
+---ou=Internal Users
| +---uid=meinholz
|
+---ou=External Users
|
+---ou=Web Sites
+---cn=Web Site 1
+uniqueMember uid=meinholz,ou=Internal Users,dc=my,dc=com
+---cn=Web Site 2
+uniqueMember uid=meinholz,ou=Internal Users,dc=my,dc=com
This schema is mainly used to seperate internal and external users and
allow a single user account access to multiple sites.
What I would hope to be able to add is something that would let me add
existing users to the jamm o=hosting hierarchy, similar to how I can add
existing users to my Web Sites hierarchy. So ideally, I would like to
add something like:
+---o=hosting
+---jvd
+---postmaster
+---uniqueMember uid=meinholz,ou=Internal Users,dc=my,dc=com
So that the jvd user was linked to my existing uid=meinholz entry
instead of creating a new user (new password) in the o=hosting tree.
Thanks for your help,
Lloyd
