One thing I have found is that if the user cuts and pastes a username in and accidently adds a leading space Jamm will blow chunks. The only way I can find to fix it was to look at ldap directly with something like phpldapadmin and rm the leading space. Not sure if this is what you are seeing but I just thought I would mention it just in case. One of the real weaknesses I have found in Jamm is its error reporting. It appears to me that most errors return the dreaded unknown error message. :-( If I understood how to fix this I would but alas I do not.
