adding users error

Hi,
i'm using jamm with fedora ds ver 7.1 after so much trouble in gettin them
work together -- it appears that i can set passwords, whenever i add a new
domain or user it requests a postmaster or user password when i enter them
i get the following error

An unknown error has occured!
Please contact the system administrator

We're sorry for the inconvience. Please try again later.

but the domain/user is created succesfully, except that now when i try to
login via squirrelmail it says unknown user or password

please help
