Is that an actual Sun Java/JDK, or is it gcj?  type "java -version" to see.
 Jamm will not work with gcj, as it relies on some LDAP stuff that's only in
the Sun version.

(Boy I'm glad Sun is open sourcing java, maybe confusion like this can go
away in the future.  :) )
