To delete an account from jamm you need the jammcleaner utility.

What I do is delete the account and then run jammcleaner manually. Once
that completes I add a alias in. Check the archives on this mailing list
about jammcleaner. It always catches people out. On our Jamm server we
currently have jammcleaner running as a hourly cron job for users who
don't have shell access. You'll find jammcleaner in the utils tar file
and instructions in the README.

Subject: [Jamm-users] Deleting users

Hi all,

I recently installed jamm, postfix, courier and ldap. For the most part
things
seem to be working. The problem I am having is deleting/forwarding an
account.
There does not seem to be a way to conveniently do either. For example,
if I
have someone who leaves and I want to forward their mail to someone else
how
do I do that? I thought about deleting the old username and creating an
alias
but since all you can do is mark an account for deletion and since the
entry
already exists you are not allowed to add the same name as an alias.

Does anyone have a solution for this? What am I missing?

Regards,

Tom
