This sounds great.

My problem is that I've got a very good friend who has just set up her own 
PR company here in London and I'm helping her out by hosting her email - 
guess what, she can't use it as she is mobile.

So, I guess we can fire fight until your emergency repairs are done - if you 
can post anything, then great - I'm no expert, but can quite happily begin 
documenting stuff, going down the road you've been down etc..

Have you tried building your house on stilts?

OK. I'll being first thing tomorrow with what you've outlined. It's 9.05pm -
