new oddity: jump to msg 1

With the new snapshot, when new messages arrive in
my IMAP inbox, Mahogany occasionally jumps to the
first message.  (Since I have many messages in my Inbox,
this is a bit annoying.)  I see this behavior most often
when I delete a message just before a new message arrives,
but sometimes it just happens.
