Hi Dimitri,

sure I have Exim installed as standard, dont actively use it though. 
Maybe I misunderstand
the advantage of what you are suggesting. Certainly there are many way 
of achieving certain things.
Seems like with you suggestion I would still need to configure Maildrop, 
and I would still need to
change the config of fetchmail.

I had hoped that I could simply add Maildrop to my existing setup.

Just FYI. AT one time I did not use IMAP. So I installed Nail to send 
emails from my server to
my pop email account if required. I have kept it that way, even though I 
could now deliver those emails
locally. But I also send those emails to 2 other external accounts, so I 
still need that capability.

Is the reason for your suggestion because its more of a standard solution?
