This is all explained in the maildropfilter man page. OK, I guess I understand this OK. But it somehow does not seem to do that properly. I tested again running fetchmail as fetchmail, mail or root. STill get the log in /var/lib/fetchmail/maildrop.log, when it is defined as just maildrop.log. Or maybe the log is always in the same place. Time for some more testing. Maybe I should build my own Maildrop?
