The postfix example I posted does a similar thing EXCEPT that it discards
the mail silently, without rejecting it.  I learned through painful
experience that some anti-spam systems will not allow mail from you if you
reject or bounce mail sent to the outgoing alias.  For example, when Verizon
gets a delivery attempt from a mail server, it connects back to the sending
server and attempts to verify that the sending address is valid.  Since the
above method rejects the connection, Verizon will not accept your mail.
There are other sites that do the same thing, but Verizon is the largest I
have had experience with.  If you don't have any Verizon subs this may not
be a big deal, but I have a lot.
