This is a sendmail issue. The To: header we are referring to is at the MTA
level and not what the members of your list sees

After reading through the thread I'm slightly confused.
We have lists with over 600 users in them (each) and the 'To' field
NEVER includes any of the addresses that are in the lists. If it did
we'd hear about it for sure (most of our subscribers are very sensitive)
but all they see is the list addy in the 'To' and that's it from list
owner (i.e. '[email protected]; on behalf of ...').
Are you sure you have Majordomo setup correctly? Have you tried creating
a simple test list with a few addresses you own and checked your .config
file on it? Have you subscribed yourself to the list in question and
reviewed the headers? How is it being invoked in your alias file? What
version of Majordomo are you using and did you compile it your self?
Something is not right here and I'd suspect its your Majordomo and not
sendmail. Just MHO, take it for what it's worth.
