Ah, well his original statement "Yahoo and AOL (and some others) say
they won't accept the my majordomo announcements because they have too
many Addressees" seemed to say (to me) that his 'To' looks like the
following:

From: [email protected]
To: [email protected], [email protected],
[email protected], [email protected],
[email protected], [email protected],
[email protected], [email protected],
[email protected], [email protected],
[email protected], [email protected]

If majordomo was the list manager I couldn't see how that was happening.
I still don't see how his mail lists generating the above would have
anything to do with sendmail. The 'workaround' of lowering the TOBUFSIZ
setting or other tweaks are nice but didn't seem to address the real
problem. But I've obviously missed some part of the discussion and you
have the answer already so it's all good.
