I use the same filters I do on the rest of my mail, a bunch of conservative DNSBLs at the front door, sbl-xbl and some of the paid MAPS ones, and spamassassin. I avoid viruses via an SMTP server feature that rejects any mail that contains a MIME part that starts with the base64 version of a Windows EXE header. I would imagine it wouldn't be too hard to set up some default mj2 attachment rules to accomplish the same thing.
