-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 'k, I'm currently setting up a 'project environment', with some very specific and short term projects needing immediate attention ... First, we need a web designer ... we are going to breath life back into this, we've got to sell it ... personally, I think Mj2 is Betamax to Mailman's VHS, and would like to see Betamax make a come back (for those not in the know, technically, Betamax was the better technology, VHS was just marketed better) ... to sell it, there has to be a good, professional web site built, and I'm not the one to build it ... my fear is that nobody here is, are we all techies? Or is there someone out there able / willing to step up to the plate on this? Second, I'm going to setup Mediawiki ... Mj2 is huge, it is powerful ... it is daunting ... as much as it would be nice to have v2.0 come with packages, the chances of that happening are, IMHO, next to nil unless ppl here are going to do them, so we need to develop some "super brain dead how to" documents to get ppl installing / using this ... I'm planning to have MediaWiki up tomorrow, and will put out a notice at that time ... big push should be to get 'installation instructions' in place for the various operating systems ... Which brings us to our third point ... anyone out there know how to build packages for their various operating systems? :) - ---- Marc G.
