I am sorry.  Certainly that it how it looks.  But "Dead" is perhaps an overstatement for the software in its current condition (at least, as I see it), for the same reasons as Majordomo 1.94, especially if others decide to maintain it.  It is, even now, a hell of a sight better than Mailman (excepting perhaps localisations).  It could just has easily have become unpopular or just very stable.  I had to mention it.

Just FYI, two notable organisations still using it are the OpenBSD project and US-CERT.

But for people who are wondering what the remaining options are, they seem basically to be Mailman, Sympa and MLMMJ.  Ecartis died horribly, fairly recently.  Anything else seems to be "At your peril", so to speak.

Thanks, in any case, for all the work you put in.  It really *is* an awesome MLM.  I don't think anybody seriously imagines you would put any more work into something if you thought it was dead, and I hope I don't live to witness yet another horrible death.
